Barbara B. Thomas age 83 of Prairie du Chien passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Crossing Rivers Healthcare in Prairie du Chien.  She was born February 12, 1933 in Darlington, WI the daughter of James and Bernice (Dunn) Bryson.  She married George Thomas April 25, 1952 in Darlington.  Together they owned and operated the Deluxe Motel in Prairie du Chien for many years.  George preceded her in death on November 7, 1993.  Barb was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge.  She is survived by her children, Rodney (Linda) of Platteville, WI, Judy (James) Gull of LaCrosse, WI and Craig (Lori) of Sparta, WI, her grandchildren, Kelly, Sara, Emily, Brent, Brock, Tommy and Brittany along with great grandchildren, Gavin and Aiden.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Bryson.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Fr. Carson Culver officiating with a private interment in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Eagles Heart and Cancer Telethon.
