Bernice R. Fuller age 91 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Lancaster, WI.  She was born December 21, 1925 in Bagley, WI the daughter of Albert and Sylvia (Havill) Clark. Bernice was valedictorian of her high school class and later graduated from the UW Platteville Teacher’s College.  She taught elementary school in a one room schoolhouse in Bagley. She married Robert Fuller on July 7, 1947 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bagley. She and Bob moved to Sweet Home, Oregon where Bernice served as a cook in the logging camp near the Sweet Home Indian Reservation.  She later assisted in the family business; Fuller Log and Lumber in Prairie du Chien.  Bob preceded her in death on November 15, 1994.  Bernice worked at Wal-Mart and Lori Knapp Inc. in Prairie du Chien and was a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Bagley.  She is survived by her children, Rhonda Fuller, Douglas (Julie) and Michael Fuller all of Prairie du Chien, her sister Alma Ready of Bloomington, WI, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, Dell, Jess, Art and Dean Clark, her sisters Rose Horstman and Beulah Hall along with one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bagley with interment in the Bagley Cemetery.  Friends may call on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
