Carol A. Horstman age 70 of Bagley passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, WI after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born December 17, 1945 in Galesburg, IL.  Carol was raised by her maternal grandparents Ronald and Kathryn Bainbridge.  Carol worked as a teacher’s assistant in Galesburg for several years.  She married Wayne Horstman on January 15, 1964 in Prairie du Chien, WI.  She and her husband operated a beef farm in the Bagley area.  Wayne preceded her in death on September 12, 1998.  She is survived by her children, Wesley (Marinda) Horstman of Bagley, Audra Dawson of Bagley, her brother Theodore (Shirlaine) Dawson of Clinton, IA,  sister in law Sylvia (Don) Crubel of Manhattan, KS, her grandchildren Augusta Horstman (Eric Christ), Joshua Horstman (Stacy Zarling), Jonah Horstman, Kathryn (Andrew) Tomten, and Samantha Penry along with her great grandchildren Ivanelle and Eckland. 

A private family interment will be later in the Bagley Cemetery in Bagley, WI with Rev. Andy Doll officiating.
