Caryl M. Wachuta age 88 of Prairie du Chien passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Bluff Haven in Prairie du Chien. She was born March 7, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Karl and Amy (Derrickson) Koch. She was married to Clement Wachuta on June 15, 1948 at the Sacred Heart Church in Wauzeka, WI. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2014.. She married Bob Schultz of Milwaukee on April 30, 1993 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2006. Caryl sold Avon Products and worked for AAA.  She later owned and operated a Tee Shirt Shop in Milwaukee. She was a member of the Eagles Club Auxiliary. Caryl is survived by her sons, Gerald of Prairie du Chien, James (Janet) of Des Moines, IA, Clement (Grace) Jr. of LaCrosse, WI, Timothy (Carolyn) of Denver, CO and Edward of Milwaukee, WI, her brother, Ken (Nina) Koch and her sister Rosalyn Faulkner both of Indianapolis, IN, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Rev. James Weighner officiating, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
