Francois S. “Fran” Warchala age 70 of Marquette, IA passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 31, 1943 in Belgium, the son of Stephan and Katherine (Muzynski) Warchala.  Fran owned and operated Warchala Electronics in Stevens Point and later Warchala Video Systems.  He was currently employed at Design Homes in Prairie du Chien as a satellite technician.  He is survived by his son Tim (Marla) Warchala of Plover, WI, his daughters Tammy Netzer of Mosinee, WI and Tracy (Rick) Kurszewski of Elderon, WI, his sister Zonia Warchala of Redding, CA, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Mary Warchala.

A memorial service will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI with Rev. Bruce Hanson officiating.  A private family interment will be held later.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5:00 PM until the time of services.
