Prairie du Chien, WI

Julia A. Setterlun age 91 of Prairie du Chien passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Great River Care Center in McGregor, IA.  She was born September 1, 1925 in Dubuque, IA the daughter of John and Lulubelle (Petis) Slyfield. Early in life, Julia worked as a nurse for the Boscobel Hospital.  She is survived by her daughter Valerie Ritter of Lansing, WV, a stepson Russ (Carol) Setterlun of Thiensville, WI, nephew Skip Slyfield of Park City, UT and niece Shannon Slyfield of Spring, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jack Slyfield and a grandson Scott Ritter.

According to Julia’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.  A private family inurnment will be later.
