Linda L. (Caley) Schilter

Linda L. Schilter age 75 of Bagley passed away on Saturday September 21, 2019 at Orchard Manor Care Center in Lancaster, WI.  She was born on September 1, 1944 in Lancaster, WI the daughter of Willard and Ada Caley.  Linda married Albert Schilter on September 12, 1980 at the Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien, WI.  He preceded her in death on April 5, 1995.  Linda worked as a CNA at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement.  Linda was a member of the Bagley Women’s American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and “God’s little creatures.”  She is survived by her daughter Teresa Krueger, her brother Richard (Karen) Caley, her sisters, Lila Funk and Anita Caley, two grandchildren, several great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, Roger, Roy, Robert, Russell, and a sister Verna Kasper.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI, Pastor Lance Wetter officiating with burial in the Wauzeka Cemetery.  Friends may call the funeral home on Tuesday September 24, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where there will be a Women’s American Legion Auxiliary tribute at 6:45 PM.
