Marjorie K. Jaynes age 82 of Prairie du Chien passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Crossing Rivers Hospital In prairie du Chien after an extended illness.  She was born September 6, 1933 in Bloomington, WI the daughter of John and Clementine (Bohnenkamp) Hermsen.  She married Raymond Jaynes on May 29, 1954 at St. Mary’s Church in Bloomington.  He preceded her in death on February 16, 2007.  She is survived by her sons, Kurt (Teresa) and Mike (Mary) Jaynes both of Prairie du Chien, David (Kelly) of Brookfield, WI and Ron (Renee) Jaynes of Waukesha, WI, and her grandchildren, Jordan, Dustin, Andy, Ethan, Erin, Molly, Allie, Karly and Kori, her brother, Philip Hermsen of Woodstock, GA, sisters, Arlene Schmidt of Bloomington, WI, Joanne (Glen) Ward of Onalaska, WI, Marguerite (Roland) Clinton of McGregor, Iowa, Kathleen (Mike) Leard of Prairie du Chien, Carolyn Bidwell of Fort Collins, CO., sisters in law, Jen Hermsen of Bloomington and Eileen Hermsen of Prairie du Chien.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, her brothers Ambrose, James and Walter Hermsen, sister in law Joanne Hermsen and brother in law Leonard Schmidt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00 PM at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Rev. Victor Feltes officiating with burial in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
