The daughters of Mary J. Stevens age 61 of Prairie du Chien, WI regretfully announce her passing on July 18, 2017.  Mary was born September 14, 1955 in Prairie du Chien the daughter of Theodore and Edna (Steiner) Vanderbilt.  She worked as a pharmacy technician for Wal-Mart in Prairie du Chien for nearly 30 years.  She is survived by her daughters, Tonia (Bill) Breuer of Bloomington, WI, Tara (Shawn) Schultz and Tricia (Ryan) Koeller both of McGregor, IA and Tiffany Chase) Pettera of Prairie du Chien, her sisters, Charlotte (Jim) Smrcina of Potosi, WI, Arlene Dull, and Julie Gabel both of Prairie du Chien her brother Doug (Peggy) Vanderbilt of Prairie du Chien, her grandchildren, Claire, Noah, Olivia, Sam, Max, Ruby, Ty, Layia, Stella, Hazel, Cecelia and Lucille along with her great grandchild Elyannah and a special friend Bob Marfilius.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Kaye Meyers, JoAnne Hanley, Lonnie Vanderbilt and Becki Massey.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Pastor Joe Irvin officiating, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien.  Friends may call on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien and also at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
