Michael B. Johnson age 68 of Prairie du Chien passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Prairie Maison Care Center.  He was born June 28, 1949 in Farnhamville, IA to Dorothy Johnson.  He married Laurie Zimmerman on December 5, 1987.  Mike worked for Earl Brad Ford in Gowrie, IA as a mechanic for over 20 years.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laurie of Prairie du Chien, his son Jason (Peggy) Johnson of Prairie du Chien, his grandchildren Jason Jr. and Jayden, sister and brother in law, Jean (Jim) Harrenstein and Roger (Anna) Zimmerman both of Cedar Falls, IA, cousins, Denny and Donny Larson along with a dear friend Wanda McAttee.

A visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien with a time of sharing at 6:30 PM.  A private family inurnment will be held later.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
