Ruthann Rodenkirch Therring passed from this life December 13, 2017 at Gundersen

Health System in LaCrosse, WI. She was born December 1, 1943, delivered to this world by Dr. Eli Desloch in Prairie du Chien, WI to Paul and Eunice Pohle Rodenkirch.

Ruthann was educated at St. Mary's Academy but graduated from Prairie du Chien High

School due to the closing of the Academy. She obtained a degree from the Madison, WI

Business School and was employed by the WI State Department of Taxation.

Through her marriage, she lived in California, New Jersey, West Virginia, South

Carolina and Hawaii. Moving to Buffalo City, WI, she was employed at Dairyland Power, Alma. Ruthann loved gardening, fishing, reading, shopping on GVC and traveling especially to New York City.

Born to Ruthann are daughter, Kandi Burmeister, Ravena, NY and son Michael

Schoeffel, New Lisbon, WI. Her joy was her granddaughters, Ashley and Jenna and

grandson, Dylan.

Ruthann is survived by her children, brother Bill (Sandra) Rodenkirch of Prairie, sister

Virginia Lochner of Prairie, granddaughter Ashley (Cory) Byas and Jenna (Chris)

Minetti, grandson Dylan Buffy and great grandson, Gavin Byas, neices Tina (John)

Osterhaus, Jill and Polly Fernette, nephew Bill (Deanna) Rodenkirch.

Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents, nephew John Rodenkirch, brother in laws

Jerry Fernette and Michael Lochner.

A memorial visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI.   Interment will be later in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
