Tammy M. Lessard age 52 of Waukon and formerly of Prairie du Chien, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 20, 1959 in Waukon, the daughter of Gordon and Marilyn (Halverson) Ehde. She married Richard Lessard on June 17, 1977 in Prairie du Chien. She worked as a CNA at Prairie Maison Care Center for many years. Tammy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her daughters, Felicia (Brian) Kober of Prairie du Chien, Andrea (Terry) Miller of Waukon, Lacey (Matt) McCormick and Jaclyn (Brian) Burroughs both of Waterville, IA, her father Gordon (Shirley) Ehde of Stillwater, MN, her mother Marilyn (William) Macke of Solgohachia, AR, her brothers, Tracy (Julia) Ehde of McGregor, IA, Mike (Melinda) Ehde of Prairie du Chien, Matthew Ehde of Hudson, WI and Jason (Garilyn) Ehde of Stillwater, MN, her sisters, Cindy (Jeff) Waughtal of Melrose, WI, Vicky (Ron) Hefner of McGregor, IA and Debbie (Brian) Hofhenke of Ortonville, MN, 18 grandchildren, her step brothers and sisters, Bill, Joanie, Sandy, Lori, Mary, Sue and Sally.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will be held later. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 4:00 PM until the time of services.
