Jack Renner Obituary

Jack Ray Renner, age 80 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. He was born January 16, 1940 in Waterloo, IA.

He is survived by 4 sons David Renner, Rich (Pam) Renner, Randy (Cami) Renner, and John Renner; 1 daughter Shelly (Gregg) Ritter; his grandchildren Jeremy, Joey, Brittany, Chelsey, Carley, Kayla, Tiffany, Matthew, and Ashley; and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 63 years Diana.

Jack served in the army for four years, worked at John Deere’s for 32 years and owned the Lakeview Bar and Restaurant for 36 years. Jack was the greatest fisherman to cast a line and the greatest hunter to shoulder a gun. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren. His stories that he told to everyone that he met will go on forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
