John Meng Obituary

John B. Meng, age 76 of Prairie du Chien passed away unexpectedly Monday January 27, 2020 at Gundersen Health System in Lacrosse, WI of complications from lung and heart disease. John was born July 20, 1943 the son of Richard and Dorothea (Williams) Meng. He worked in construction and was an avid sports fan. He loved playing basketball and baseball as a young man. John enjoyed his work as a crossing guard near the B.A. Kennedy Elementary School. He is survived by his wife Caralyn, his children, Jodi (Bill) Fischer, Lori (Darren) Geldard, Brynn (Craig Cummins) Junk, Christopher Junk and Adam (Kaitlyn) Junk, his sister Bonnie (Fritz) Schunke, his grandchildren, Lukas (Jenni), Hali, Dylan, Cory, Aven, Jonathan, Dax, Lenyx and Koyier, his great grandchildren, Jameson, Leland and Kinsley. He was preceded in death by his parents, four half sisters and a half brother.

According to John’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
