Kenneth Mohoney Obituary

Kenneth E. Mohoney, age 88 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien. He was born December 9, 1931 in Wauzeka, WI, the son of Victor and Lela (Trappe) Mohoney. Ken served in the US Army. He married Irene Bomkamp November 5, 1955 at St. Wenceslaus Church in Eastman, WI. He worked for The Milwaukee Road and later for the Canadian Pacific Railroads for 38 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his children Edward Mohoney and Connie (Jerry) Jones; his sister Dorothy McFall; his grandchildren Jesse, Daniel, Cody, and Alisa; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Donald Mohoney and his sister Doris Teynor.

A Graveside Service will be Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:00AM in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, Deacon Mark Grunwald officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard.
