Michael H. Morrissey

Michael H. Morrissey age 67 passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born February 25, 1953 in Shullsburg, WI the son of Francis and Therese (O’Neill) Morrissey.  Michael married Lucille Boxrucker in May 2012.  Michael worked in the Financial Industry for numerous years and most recently at Cabela’s.  He loved to hunt, fish, go horseback riding, traveling, and most of all he loved his family.  He is survived by his wife Lucille, his sons, Dale (Rachel) and Shawn (Kristin) Morrissey, his step-children DeNichole (Jim) Rymarz, Derrick (Sara) Boxrucker, DeAnne (Mike) Hoffman, his brother Joe (Jane) Morrissey, his sisters, Diane Morrissey and Paula (Bob) Stauffacher, thirteen grandchildren, his uncle, George (Lorna) Burns, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien, WI. The family has requested No Flowers Please.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
