Roseann Marie (Myers) Zach

Roseann M. Zach, age 73 of Seneca passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. She was born the smallest baby, weighing in at 30 oz., at Beaumont Hospital in Prairie du Chien on February 22, 1951, the daughter of Clifford and Marie (Koppen) Myers. She married Paul Zach on October 24, 1970, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien. She worked as a custodian in the Seneca School District for many years along with part-time cooking at No Bull Party Place. She enjoyed square dancing in her younger years. Crafting was a past time she thoroughly enjoyed along with a mean game of bingo, coloring, and puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Paul; their children Richard (Karen Podbielski) Zach, Karen (James Struntz) Moris; sister Donna (Gerald Simon) Henkes; brothers Joseph Myers and James (Sandy) Myers; grandchildren Tyler, Travis, Ryan, Reagan, Dustin, Devin, Nicholas(Anessa), and Justin; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Gentree, Beau, Gracie and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents, father-in-law George Zach, mother-in-law Francis Zach, sister Mary Pelowski, brother-in-law Chester Pelowski Sr., sister-in-law Phyllis Myers, and brother-in-law Dale Henkes.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating with private inurnment at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
