Suzanne M. (Lathrop) Kazda

Suzanne Marie (Lathrop) Kazda, age 75, of Boscobel passed away on November 22, 2020 at home surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born on May 23, 1945 in Dubuque, IA to John and Anna Marie Lathrop.  She has fond memories of being a phone operator for a local telephone company in Prairie du Chien.  She worked and retired from Advance Transformer in Boscobel, WI.  Suzanne loved to travel.  She has been to Florida with some friends and traveled to Hawaii to visit a brother.  Suzanne and her two sisters traveled by train to Washington State to visit a brother also.  Suzanne enjoyed traveling to South Dakota with her son and family.  She took many convertible rides with a close friend enjoying the countryside.

Suzanne is survived by four sons, Rick (Mary), Todd, Scott (Margie), Jeff (Annette), three sisters, Kathleen (Donald) Kazda, Ann Russell (Gary Miller), and Lori Lathrop, two brothers, Duane and Dale Lathrop, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dennis Lathrop, nephews Russell Lathrop, Issac and Eli Gillitzer, great grandchildren Zavier and Jesus Torres.

A Memorial Gathering will be Friday December 4, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Century Hall in Wauzeka, WI.  A private inurnment will be held in the Wauzeka Cemetery at a later date.  The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
