Barbara C. (Harvat) Stuckey

Barbara C. Stuckey age 65 of Eastman passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI.  She was born December 28, 1953 in Wauzeka, WI the daughter of Orville and Dorothy (Onstine) Harvat.  She married Robert Stuckey on June 17, 1972.  Together they farmed in the Eastman area and Barbara also worked at Miniature Precision Components in Prairie du Chien. Barb was affectionately known as Grandma and “Big Mama”. She loved her dog P.J and watching birds, especially hummingbirds.  She is survived by her husband Robert of Eastman, her children, Robbie (Heather), Mandy (Walter) Smithson and Jimmy (Melissa Lenzendorf) all of Eastman, her brother Pat Harvat, her sisters, Margaret (Jim) Jones, Darlene (Duane) Dobson and Belinda (Roger) Swatek, sisters in law, Katherine and Gloria Harvat, her grandchildren Riley, Breanna, Jasmine, Karsyn, Rebecca, Natalie, and RaeLynn, Parker and her stepson P.J.  She was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, her parents, her brothers, Orville and Carl Harvat and a sister in law Patti Harvat.

A memorial service will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Salem United Methodist Church in Eastman. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is helping the family.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
