Brandon S. Buffington age 15 of Eastman, WI passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, WI from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 18, 1995 in Prairie du Chien, WI, the son of Robert and Crystal (Haupt) Buffington. He was currently enrolled as a sophomore at Seneca High School. Brandon was a member of the Seneca Football team and enjoyed baseball and target shooting. When he was not involved with a sport, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends after school, music and his computer. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Crystal of Eastman, his brothers, Austin at home and Derek Mellem of Bangor, WI, his sister Maya at home, his paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Buffington of Prairie du Chien, his maternal grandfather Harold Haupt of Trego, WI, aunt Dawn (Mike) Christman, uncles Dan Buffington( Suzie Prew) of Prairie du chien, WI Terry (Stephanie) Buffington Bagley, WI and Daryl Buffington Beetown, WI his special friend Shawna Sprosty and dear friends the Jay and Kristy Grimsled Family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Margaret Haupt along with his friend and classmate Skyler Hammond.
A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 2:00 PM until the time of services.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
