Charles J. “Charlie” Linder age 70 of Eastman passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Great River Care Center.  He was born July 30, 1947 the son of Charles and Julia (Stluka) Linder.  He married Phyllis Horsfall on June 1, 1974 at St. Wenceslaus Church in Eastman.  Charlie owned and operated the family farm and Linder Repair.  He belonged to the Antique Power Club in Boscobel, WI and enjoyed doing custom sawing and bale work.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis of Eastman, his children, Cheryl (Brian Schrader) Cornell of Goose Lake, IA, Dale (Rose Saunders) Linder of Larson, WI and Michelle (Michael) Cole of Madison, WI, his grandchildren Trenton and Daniel.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Rev. Rajan Anandan officiating with burial in the church cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 40 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI.
