Janice G. (Oppriecht) Caya

Janice G. Caya age 82 of Eastman passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Thornton Manor Care Center in Lansing, IA. She was born August 30, 1935 in Lynxville the daughter of Eugene and Odean (Bright) Oppriecht.  She married Charles Caya on June 2, 1956 at St. Wenceslaus Church in Eastman. She and Chuck enjoyed their trips out west and were active members of St. Wenceslaus Parish. Jan worked as a beautician and later as a secretary for 3M Company in Prairie du Chien until her retirement. Chuck preceded her in death on June 19, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman, WI, Rev. Rajan Anandan officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
