Lewis W. (Mac) "Pie" McIntosh Jr.

Lewis W. ‘Pie” (or Mac) McIntosh Jr. age 83 of Prairie du Chien passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born May 27, 1936 in Chicago, IL the son of Lewis and Clare (Lindner) McIntosh Sr.  He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany.  He married Gayle Kedl on June 27, 1959 at the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien.  Pie worked for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and was the service manager for Dagnon Motors and Huebsch Chevrolet in Prairie du Chien.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Zor Temple Shriner of Masonic Lodge #8 in Prairie du Chien. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gayle of Prairie du Chien, his sons, Todd (Stephanie) of Carrollton, TX and Thad (Ruth) of Prairie du Chien, his brothers, Willard ‘Ink‘ (Donna) of E. Moline, IL and Donald ‘DJ’ (Kim) of Marco Island, FL, his grandchildren, Gayla (Aaron) Waddy, Kylie (Neil) Gross, Devin (Emily), his great grandchildren, Audrey, Hadley, Harlow and Henli.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Shirley McIntosh.

A Graveside Service will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien. Military honors will be accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard. A Celebration of Pie’s Life will be after 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Eagles Club in Prairie du Chien.
