Linda L. Sheckler age 69 of Prairie du Chien passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Gundersen Healthcare in LaCrosse, WI. She was born September 1, 1950 in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Edwin and Luella (Gerardy) Hamann. She married James Sheckler on September 21, 1968 in Prairie du Chien. Linda worked at Althof’s Television Center for 16 years. Linda enjoyed the outdoors especially deer hunting and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 50 years James of Prairie du Chien, her son Jeffery of Prairie du Chien, her brother Edwin (Carol) Hamann of Mukwonago WI, and grandchildren Hunter and Haylee. She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to Linda’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A celebration of Linda’s life is being planned for a future date. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
