Mark S. Tessmer, age 61, of Prairie du Chien, passed away on Tuesday June 6, 2017. Mark was born on October 9, 1955 in Waterloo, IA to the son of John and Delores (Weldon) Streit. He worked as a cook at the Red Cedar Inn, a family owned business, located in McGregor, IA.  Mark enjoyed fishing and taking care of his pets.  He is survived by a daughter Heather Tessmer of Mason City IA, and a sister Dianna (Kit) Fortney of Chatham, MI.
