Mary Ann (Kelly) Dirksen

Eastman, WI

Mary Ann Dirksen age 77 of Eastman passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay, WI.  She was born December 24, 1941 in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Leonard and Rose Kelly.  She married Elmer Dirksen on February 7, 1957 in Bryant, SD.  Together they farmed in South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, quilting and was a great cook.  She especially enjoyed raising and tending her peacocks. Elmer preceded her in death on May 19, 2016.  She is survived by her sons, Gordon (Jen) and Matthew (Danielle) Dirksen both of Green Bay, WI, her grandchildren, Aiden, Brooke, Dane, Brady and Justin (Missy) along with her great grandchildren, Noble, Cadence and Landolin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Gerald and a sister Lenora. Mary Ann leaves behind many wonderful friends and the family would like to thank all who helped her so much throughout the years and the Bible Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Bible Baptist Church in Prairie du Chien, WI, Pastor Andy Doll officiating, with burial in the National Cemetery in Eastman, WI.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.  The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
