Millie L. (Cary) Senesac

Millie L.Senesac age 87 of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Crossing Rivers Health Center in Prairie du Chien.  She was born June 5, 1931 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Benjamin and Margaret (Tait) Cary. She married Ronald Senesac on April 29, 1950 in Harvey, IL.  Millie was a master gardener, and an active member of Holy Family Parish in Prairie du Chien where she tended her flowers for St.John's Church and the Veterans Memorial Park. Millie was also a fixture in the community as a crossing guard for kids on their way to and from school. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an excellent baker.  Ron preceded her in death on June 12, 2005.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Cheryl) of Mokena, IL, Timothy (Gayle) of Prairie du Chien and Joseph (Mara) of Pearland, TX, her daughters, Janet Anderson of Griffith, IN and Paulette Senesac of Plymouth, IN, her siblings, Marilyn (Julian) Duran of Albuquerque, NM, Nancy (Wade) Kapeldo of Crown Point, In, Frances Parker of Grand Jct, Co, Shirley Prentiss of Baraboo, Wi, Margie Cary of Chicago, Il, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several other siblings. 

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Rev. James Weighner officiating, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien where there will be a rosary at 4:00 PM, and at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Holy Family Parish for grounds upkeep.
