Paul O. White

Prairie du Chien, WI

Paul O. White age 88 of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Great River Care Center in McGregor, IA.  He was born April 22, 1931 in Prairie du Chien the son of James and Mae (Kramer) White. Paul served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He married Helen Ingram on April 12, 1958 in Chicago, IL. Paul owned and operated White Insurance Agency in Prairie du Chien for over 55 years. He was an active member of the Eagles Club Aerie 1502 in Prairie du Chien. Sadly, Helen preceded him in death on May 24, 2019. He is survived his son David (Heather) of Prairie du Chien, his daughter Deborah White of Austin, TX, his brothers, James and Gary both of Prairie du Chien and Don (Nina) of Ft. Pierce, FL, his grandchildren, Kylie, Breanna, Caitlyn, Madison, Chris and Jon along with his great grandchildren, Briar and Dixon.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, a son Michael, brothers, Bill, John, Raymond and Aloysius along with his sister Laura Heely.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish with interment in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien. Military honors will be accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard. Friends may call on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien with an Eagles Club tribute at 7:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eagles Heart and Cancer Telethon. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
