Roger P. Martin age 63 of Eastman passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.  He was born September 19, 1953 in Eastman, the son of Arthur and Ruth (Feye) Martin. He worked as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Crawford County for the past 16 years.  He was an active member of the Eastman Fire Dept. where he served as Fire Chief.  He belonged to the Eastman First Responders and served as the Village Board President and the Fire Warden.  He is survived by his children, Amy (Nick) Echard of Farmersburg, IA, Angie Martin and Jenny (Brian Zach) Martin both of Eastman, Lori (John) Clark of Gettysburg, PA and Michael (Heather Johnson) Martin of Reedstown, WI, his  brothers, Ronald (Ann),  and Kenneth (Barb) Martin both of Eastman, Robert Martin all of Eastman David (Renee) and Gerald Martin both of Prairie du Chien, Darryl (Sharon) Martin of Wauzeka, WI and Donald Martin of Eastman, his sisters; Kathleen (Larry) Zeeh of Wauzeka, Donna Martin and  Ruth Ann (Ron) Colson both of Eastman, Barbara (Mike) Breuer of Glen Haven, WI and Joan (Lee) Pulda of Prairie du Chien, his grandchildren, Jessica, Eli, Keagan, Ty and Alex.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman with Rev. Victor Feltes officiating, burial in the church cemetery.  Friends may call on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI and at the church on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
