Roger B. Thomas

Roger B. Thomas age 45 of Prairie du Chien passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at Crossing Rivers Health Care following an extended illness.  He was born December 8, 1973 in Prairie du Chien the son of Peter and Marijane (Spiker) Thomas.  Roger graduated from Waukesha South High school in 1992 and later from the Writer’s Digest School in 2004.  He became a published author in 2016 after writing “Fear of the Dark”.  Roger was very loving, caring, helpful and intellectual.  He enjoyed filmology, writing, reading, gaming, learning and passing on his knowledge to younger generations. He is survived by his mother Marijane Thomas, his brothers, Peter Thomas Jr., Dale Thomas and Michael (Heather) Thomas, nieces and nephews, William, Christian, Cassondra, Dakota and Damien. He was preceded in death by his father.

According to Roger’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service.  The family is planning a private service for a future date.  The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
