Junie was a grand woman and will be so missed by the Eastman community. When we moved to Eastman in 1996, she welcomed me and invited me to join womens group. The farm backed up to our house and your Dad became our neighbor and friend. too. I'm saddened to hear of her passing and wish you comfort and love.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your wonderful mother. The Eastman community will surely miss her. I have many wonderful memories of her growing up with you and during my involvement with her in 4-H and church as an adult. She will be sorely missed. Bob and I will be unable to attend the services due to State Free Style wrestling this weekend in the Dells. I wanted to make sure to drop you a note to let you know we are thinking of you all.

We are so sorry for your loss of Junie so soon after Laverne's passing. Junie was always so friendly to us when lived out in PdC and would see them either at a fast pitch softball game or 4th of July celebrations in Eastman -- and anytime we were at Rick and Deb's. Junie was also our oldest daughter's, Kelli, kindergarten teacher before we moved away from PdC in 1986. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

To the entire DuCharme family~
You have my deepest sympathy at Mrs DuCharme's sudden passing. I did not have the pleasure of having her as my kindergarten teacher but knew her better from the Eastman ball park. She and LaVerne were both a fixture up at the ball park whether LaVerne was playing, one of the kids or grandkids were playing or just at the ball park to watch the games and visit with her friends up there. She was always willing to help run the park and always had a smile and a kind hello! Keep all the good memories of her close and let those heal ease your pain. She will be missed by so many. Eastman has lost another very special person!

I have many fond memories of Mrs. DuCharme; she was one of my teachers at the Seven Mile School. It's hard to find words that might bring you comfort at this time of loss, but perhaps just knowing that we are thinking of you with sympathy and prayers will somehow help to give you strength at this difficult time.

Velda was my favorite teacher at Seven Mile School. I walked hand in hand with her at recess and she loved all of us. I remember her going sledding down the field road with us and tearing her skirt. Mrs. Horkheimer gave her something to wear for the rest of the day. So sorry at her passing. I will always remember her. Carole
