Aladean M. Doll, age 72 of Wauzeka, WI passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. She was born August 26, 1952, to Paul and Agnes (Wagner) Doll. She graduated from Wauzeka High School with the class of 1970. She attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse before obtaining an associate degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, WI. She worked as a certified nursing assistant, providing both nursing home and in-home care in Prairie du Chien, WI. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Wauzeka where she played the organ for many years. Aladean gave comfort to many, of all ages, with her poems and letters of correspondence. She made sure to write poems for her loved ones every Christmas and Easter season. She had a love of nature and appreciated life’s simple wonders that many take for granted. Aladean’s family is grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to her within the community, as it meant so much to her during her life. She is survived by 7 siblings Patricia (John) King, Mark Doll, Gloria (Roger) Wall, Cyrilla Face, Dorothy (Bhupen) Joshi, Mary (Jerry) Smalley, and Rita Freiburger; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Beatrice Doll and infant sister Anabelle Doll; sister-in-law Kim Doll and brothers-in-law Wesley Face and Dave Freiburger.
A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wauzeka, Fr. Chinnappan Pelavendran officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Sacred Heart Church Hall from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
