Beverly Ann (Graner) LaRocque

Beverly A. LaRocque, age 78 of Prairie du Chien passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI. She was born in Wabasha, MN on March 19, 1945, the daughter of Blake and Beatrice (Hadek) Graner. She grew up in Kellogg, MN on the family farm before moving to Rochester, MN to attend nursing training. Beverly married Richard “Dick” LaRocque on September 19, 1964. Together, they moved to Prairie du Chien where they would raise their three children. She worked at the Convalescent Center in Prairie du Chien for several years before retirement. She enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, camping, and bird watching. She also enjoyed reading and watching the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Dick; their children Jeff LaRocque, Wendy (Tom) Novey and Luke LaRocque; her 3 sisters Jan (Don) Geesaman, Mary (Terry) Kroening, and Kathy (Jim) Schulstad; her grandchildren Jacob, Krista, Ashley, Taylor, Madeline, Grant, Gavin, and Graison; her great-grandchildren Elijah, Phoebe, and Calvin and several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Blake Graner.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating, with inurnment in the Holy Family Parish Columbaria Circle, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and also at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
