Obituary
Brenda K. Finney age 62 of Prairie du Chien, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 15, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 20, 1959, in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Arthur and Nancy (Williams) Lynn. Brenda married Joseph Finney on December 27, 1979, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien. She belonged to the Big River Long Rifles Organization and was well known as the “Game Lady” to the children attending the Prairie du Chien Villa Rendezvous. She enjoyed putting on all the children’s games every year. Brenda worked several years at McGregor Loudspeaker. She loved the outdoors and being in her yard attending her flowers and animals. Brenda was an avid fisherwoman. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Joseph, her daughters, Brandy (Tobias) Gilman and Mariha (Wayne) Finney-Crass, her mother, Nancy Knutson, her brother Arthur (Becky) Lynn, 5 grandchildren, and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
