Christopher H. Kaber

Christopher H. Kaber age 65 of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 following a brief illness.  He was born September 13, 1957 in Prairie du Chien the son of Rex and Joan (Kramer) Kaber.  He married Deann Emberson on March 5, 1983 in Indianapolis, IN.  Chris worked as a yardman for Dillman Equipment in Prairie du Chien for 26 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deann, his brother Jon Kaber, sisters Kathy (Michael) Kruse and Mary Jo (Larry) Hamann along with special nephews, Kyle and Kevin Kaber.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to Chris’ wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.  A Celebration of Chris’ life is being planned for a future date.  The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.  www.garrityfuneralhome.com
