Clay M. Heisz

Clay M. Heisz age 61 of Prairie du Chien passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his home.  He was born May 13, 1960, the son of Francis and Patricia (Kahler) Heisz.  Clay served in the United States Army from 1982 until 1985.  Clay was very proud of the many jobs he worked while in the service and throughout his life including working for General Motors in Janesville, Wisconsin. Clay had a great passion for cars from a very young age.  According to his family, nobody could hold a candle to his impersonation singing Elvis Presley’s songs.  Clay is survived by his brothers, Ricky (Elise) and Shaun Heisz, sister, Kim (Gary) Olson, stepbrother, Kevin (Leanne) Kuhagen, a best friend Neil Erdenberger, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Corrine “Cookie” Heisz.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
