Cortney A. (Groom) Williams

Cortney A. (Groom) Williams age 40 of Wauzeka, WI passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics.  She was born August 31, 1980 in Prairie du Chien, WI the daughter of Dean and Rita (Konicheck) Groom.  Cortney attended and graduated from Wauzeka Public High School in May of 1998.  She was a devoted mother to her daughter and also cherished and loved her family.  She is survived by her daughter Kayden Groom, her parents, Dean (Kim Wagner) Groom and Rita Groom, her brother Jesse (Breanne) Groom, her niece Gabbriella Groom, her nephews Garrett and Samual Groom, and her paternal grandmother Madonna Groom.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and her maternal grandparents.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI.  In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.  The Garrity Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
