Dale C. Sprosty

Dale C. Sprosty, age 62 of Eastman, WI passed away Friday, February 14, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1962, to Raymond and Evelyn (Picha) Sprosty. After graduating from Prairie du Chien High School, Dale moved to Montana for several years. Upon returning home to Wisconsin, he worked as a carpenter for a short time before joining his father in working the family farm. Dale also became the third generation to serve as the treasurer for the Eastman township. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping both out west and here in Crawford County. He is survived by 7 sisters Judy Becwar, Ann (Monte) Russell, Joan (Pat) Hurda, Mary (Don) Walker, Rita (Lucien) Krahn, Theresa (Danny) White, and Carol (Tim) Trautsch; 4 brothers Daniel (Peggy), Ronald (Elaine), Mark (Linda), and Greg Sprosty; special nephew Terry Sprosty and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Sprosty, sister-in-law Candy Sprosty and brother-in-law Gary Becwar Sr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Fr. Chinnappan officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Garrity Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., where there will be a rosary at 3:30 P.M. Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass.
