Dan Christopher Welsch

Dan C. Welsch, age 65 of Prairie du Chien passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at his home. He was born on December 22, 1958, to Robert and Joanne (Haupt) Welsch. Dan graduated from Prairie du Chien High School with the class of 1977. Dan later worked as a cook for many years in the La Crosse, WI area. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and especially fishing on the Mississippi River. He is survived by his mother Joanne Welsch; sister Lesley; sons Christopher and Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert “Soy” Welsch; his brother Tom and sister Patrice; and grandparents.

A graveside service will be on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
