Daniel Halver Halverson

Daniel H. Halverson, age 64 of West Salem, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem, WI.  He was born on March 6, 1959, in Viroqua, WI, the son of Harry and Darlene (Cox) Halverson.  Daniel grew up in the DeSoto area and attended Moraine Park Technical Institute, where he obtained several college degrees. Daniel married the love of his life, Lorraine Olson on April 10, 1989, in Prairie du Chien, WI.  She preceded him in death on May 8, 2005.  Daniel enjoyed working on woodworking projects and designing homes.  He was an avid fisherman and had a passion for cooking and baking. Daniel always had a sports game on his television.  Most of all, he loved his family.  Daniel is survived by his children: Adam (Jessica) Halverson and Lynn (Kevin) Harrison, his stepchildren: Carl (Trudie) and Jeff Meyer, his grandchildren: Ashlyn, DeMarco, Mike Jr., Mia ‘Kay, Devin, Trenton, Kaiah, Kadyn, and Jacob, his sister Diane Copper, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister Carla.

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 20, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI, with Pastor Lori Kleppe officiating.  Burial will be in the Walnut Mound Cemetery in Retreat, WI.  Friends may call the Garrity Funeral Home on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
