Darlene M. (Collins) Moris

Darlene M. Moris age 89, of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness.  She was born on April 4, 1931 in Mt. Hope, WI the daughter of Lawrence and Loretto (O’Flahrity) Collins.  She married Frederick “Fritz” Moris on November 14, 1950 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church in Mt. Hope, WI.  Darlene worked at Decorative Metals and the 3M Company for over 30 years until her retirement.  She was an avid seamstress, loved to bake, and enjoyed playing cards especially euchre.  Above all, Darlene loved her family.  She is survived by her husband of 70 years Fritz, her sons: Gregory and Jeffrey, daughters: Karen (Ray) Cornell, Kathy (Roy) Kossman, and Anita Moris, her sister Patty Fillback, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Keith, and an infant brother.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Charles Stoetzel officiating and burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien, WI. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
