David M. Kasey

David M. Kasey, age 78 of Prairie du Chien, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Bluff Haven in Prairie du Chien. He was born on February 20, 1947, to Joseph and Ida (Henze) Kasey. He married Sharey Grams on November 21, 1970, at Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, WI. He taught at Prairie du Chien High School from 1970 to 1996. He was the head girls’ basketball coach at Prairie du Chien from 1985 to 1996, winning 4 conference championships during that span. In 1991, he led his team to a WIAA Division 2 state championship title. He is survived by his son Ryan and 2 grandchildren Liam and Harper. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharey, and his sister.

Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien.
