Donald J. DesRocher

Prairie du Chien, WI

Donald J. DesRocher age 79 of Prairie du Chien, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Great River Care Center in McGregor, IA following an extended illness.  He was born July 4, 1939 in Prairie du Chien, the son of Filbert and Marie (DuCharme) DesRocher. He attended St. Gabriel’s Grade School and graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. Don worked for the railroad and later for GTE Electronics.  He is survived by his brothers, Paul of Racine, WI, Cyril “Zeke” (Ginger) of Prairie du Chien, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents, sisters, Dorothy Selvera, Rose Ruppert, Marge Wood, a brother Ken and two infant sisters preceded him in death.

According to Don’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.  A private family burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
