Eric T. Brey

Prairie du Chien, WI

Eric T. Brey 42 of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Richland Center passed away Tuesday, September 4,
2018 at Crossing Rivers Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1975 in Sauk County, WI to Richard and
Dorothy (Rose) Brey. On September 30, 1991 Eric's life would forever change. On August 27, 2011 Eric
married the love of .his life Lori (Lewis), Despite Eric's disability he never let it get the best of him, even
on his worst days he would get up in his wheelchair and conquer the world. He was currently an intern
with the Crawford county master gardeners. He was a 1994 graduate of Richland Center High School. Survivors of Eric include his wife Lori (Lewis) Brey, Prairie du Chien, mother Dorothy Brey,  Richland
Center, sister Becky Brey Richland Center, brother Francis Brey, Richland Center, brother Richard (Jerri)
Brey, Hillsboro. Nieces Riley and Lexi, Nephew Jamie (Serra), Nephew Cody. Aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Eric is further survived by his special friend Ken Adney, and his friend and mentor Donna Teynor of Prairie du Chien. Eric was preceded in death by his father. Hobbies included, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing bingo, going to the movies, reading books, going to music festivals, going to the free summer on the river concerts, bird and squirrel watching. He also enjoyed- feeding the squirrels, especially his pet squirrels Pete and Philbert, He also enjoyed going on vacations and road trips with his wife, and sitting outside in the sun and just enjoying life. Eric was a true inspiration and hero.  If you were having a bad day, he was sure to put a smile on your face and make you laugh.

According to Eric’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A celebration of Eric's life will be Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Hoffman Hall in Prairie du Chien.
