Esther M. “Midge” Jackson age 82, of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 2, 1939, the daughter of Virgil and Esther (Cummings) Womack in Platteville, WI. Esther was an avid reader, a great cook, and a gardener who spent countless hours attending to her flowers. Esther enjoyed dogs and cats. She loved to crochet and with a creative vision she designed her own patterns. Most of all, she loved her family. Esther is survived by her daughter Linda (Randy) Bedward, two grandchildren, Jeremy (Kim) Papin and their family and James (Wendi) Jackson and their family, a sister Pamela (Rick) Gutche, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dennis “DJ” Jackson, a brother Charles Womack, and a sister, Catherine Sandry.

According to Esthers’ wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Inurnment will be at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
