Gerald Joseph Stram

Gerald J. Stram, age 94 of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Boscobel Care & Rehab in Boscobel, WI. He was born January 29, 1930, in Prairie du Chien the son of Leo and Birdie (Koecke) Stram. As a young man, Gerald served one year in the U.S. Air Force as Military Police. For over 33 years he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until his retirement. He always enjoyed everything that had to do with the outdoors. He is survived by his son Mark (Ginger) Stram and daughter Lori (Dave) Woodward, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, his parents, his brothers Cliff and Clem, and his twin sister Geraldine Huser. Gerald’s family would like to thank the staff at Boscobel Care and Rehab and St. Croix Hospice.   

A private service will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
