Glenda “Jane” Lenzendorf age 87 of Eastman passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Prairie Maison Care Center. She was born October 20, 1933 the daughter of Glen and Wilma Heal. She married Harold Lenzendorf on February 6, 1951. She and her husband farmed most of their lives in the Eastman area. Harold preceded her in death on February 21, 2016. She served as a cook for the Eastman Senior Citizens Program and was a talented seamstress. She also worked as a CNA for the Prairie du Chien Convalescent Center. Jane had enduring strength and resilience, overcoming serious burns she experienced in a home accident as a young lady.
She is survived by her sons, Dean (Denise) and Dale (Dawn) Lenzendorf, her daughters, Deb (Mike) Henthorn, Dawn (Perry) Kansier and Dana (Dean) Trautsch, 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson Darin Kansier
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the Eastman Salem United Methodist Church, with burial in the National Cemetery both in Eastman. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien and at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
