James Wagner Obituary

James “Jim” L. Wagner age 80, of Wauzeka, WI passed away on Sunday November 1, 2020 at his residence in Wauzeka. He was born October 5, 1940 in Allamakee County the son of Harvey and Lucille (Miller) Wagner. Jim was united in marriage on July 28, 1962 to Nancy Folyer in the Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien, WI. Jim was employed by Design Homes Inc. for numerous years as the Plant Manager. He was an avid supporter of Wauzeka Athletics. He is survived by his children Kim (Dean Groom) Wagner, Jim (Brenda) Wagner, Kelly (Todd) Groom, and Kris (Amanda) Wagner, 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, his parents, grandchildren: Nicholas McCarthy and Trey Cornell, brother Harlan, sisters: Shirley Thornton and Arlene Welsch.

According to Jim’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services at this time. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
