Jean Marie (Roberts) Moret

Jean M. Moret, age 64 of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born November 14, 1959, to Albert and Margaret (Kane) Roberts. Jean graduated from Seneca High School with the class of 1978. She married James Moret on March 17, 1984, at the Eastman Wesleyan Church in Eastman, WI. Jean worked at the 3M Company in Prairie du Chien for several years before joining her husband in working on the family farm. Jean enjoyed traveling the country, making trips to Hawaii and Crater Lake to name a few. Jean loved spending time with her family and having her grandson Riley visit the farm. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jim; their children Jenny (Chad) Zirbel and Joshua Moret; 9 brothers Danny, Jim, Joe, Mark, Tim, Dennis, Paul, Scott, and TJ Roberts; 2 sisters Susan Roberts and Jane White; grandson David Riley Zirbel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, with burial in the National Cemetery in Eastman, WI. Private family visitation will take place prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Bridgeport Fire Department.
