Leonard Clarke Obituary

Leonard Lee Clarke age 75, of Prairie du Chien passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Mayo Health System in LaCrosse, WI. He was born on March 2, 1947, in Hudson, IA the son of Joel and Blanche (Stuben) Clarke. Leonard graduated Hudson High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970. Leonard married Donna Sheets on May 2, 1986, in Nebraska. He worked at Cabela’s for many years until his retirement. He loved to travel and was a talented mechanic, fixing almost anything. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna, his sons, Robert Beisner and Mathew (Cindy) Clarke, a daughter, Ashley (Mike) Rhorer, brothers, Gordon and Mel Clarke, 7 grandchildren, and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to Leonard’s wishes, a private family Memorial Service will be planned for a future date. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
